Note: Under “Window” use “Tool Presets” to reset tools to default settings

A. RED EYE TOOL.........
1. In the Toolbox, select the Red Eye Tool.
2. Set the Pupil Size (Default 50%)
3. Set the Darken Amount (Default 50%)
4. Click on center of eye.


B.
PATCH TOOL.........

There are 2 methods to retouch using sampled pixels.

Method 1:

                  1. In the Toolbox, select the Patch  Tool.

                  2. Drag in (select) a damaged area with the Patch  Tool
   
(exactly like with Lasso  Tool)

                  3. On the Options bar, choose the Source mode.

                  4. Drag the selection (cursor inside the selection) onto a repair-source area

         Method 2:

                  1. Drag in a repair-source area with the Patch  Tool*.

                  2. On the Options bar, choose the Destination mode.

                  3. Drag the selection (cursor inside of selection) onto a damaged area (movie).

To retouch with a pattern, use Method 3:

4. Drag in a damaged area with the Patch  Tool*.

                  5. In the Pattern picker, choose a pattern (movie).

6. Click the Use Pattern button on the Options bar.


C.
HEALING BRUSH TOOL
To retouch using sampled pixels:
1. In the Toolbox, select the Healing Brush Tool.
2. Set brush size and style.
3. On the Options bar, select the Sampled option.
4. Alt-click (click holding down Option/ [Alt] key)
     somewhere on your image to define a sampling point.
5. Paint with the Healing Brush Tool on the damaged area.

C. SPOT HEALING BRUSH TOOL
To retouch using sampled pixels:
1. In the Toolbox, select the Spot Healing Brush Tool.
2. Set brush size and style.
3. On the Options bar, select the Proximity Match option.
4. Click on blemish or spot to be repaired

E. REMOVING PRUPLE COLOR CAST.........
1. Open Channels Pallet and select the "Green" channel

F. WITHENING TEETH
Zoom in at least 200%
1. Select teach
2. Feathering selection 1 pixel Select – Modify – Feather
3. Making adjustment layer Curves
4. Selecting center point Set input to 128 or higher output 132 or higher

D. RETOUCHING WHITES OF EYES
Zoom in at least 200%
1. Duplicate the layer 2. Click Brush Tool Select small soft brush
3. Paint white areas of eyes
4. Zoom out to see effect
5. Set eye whitening layer opacity to 30%
6. Add a layer mask to eye whitening layer
7. Paint with black (using the Brush Tool) to soften edge of white

E. CREATING SMOOTH SKIN
1. Duplicate the layer
2. Filter – Blur – Surface Blur Radius 2 and Threshold 100 or more for each
3. Filter – Blur – Smart Blur Radius 15 and Threshold 14 or more for each Quality : High and Mode: Normal
4. Turn down Opacity of duplicate layer to 68%
5. Using eraser tool erase areas not to be blurred/smooth (adjust opacity of eraser as needed)
......... 5a. Add a layer mask to smooth skin layer
6. Paint with black (using the Brush Tool) to remove blur/smooth from unwanted areas like the eyes, teeth, lips, and hair
